About Me

This page created August 22nd 2008

The Peaceful Perspective Is the result of my search for a More Peaceful, Abundant, Life. Over the past several years I have taken deeper look at life and what I intend to create for family. The values I want to share with my children and those near me.

All around everywhere I looked I saw people rushing to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible. Hurried and stressed looks kept smiles from their faces. As If they were in some great race and they couldn’t afford to lose. A fast food bag under their arm as they struggle to hold onto their cup of hot coffee, dig change out of their pocket, and run to catch their bus.

I was raised in a small town and when I find myself having to go out in the city I now reside in, I feel a twinge…a yearning…a need to be once again in a small town. I have no desire to live this rushed, hurried, life. The crowds, The Traffic, The crime….UGH!

It’s not just this city it’s a global thing…Watch the news you’ll  see all the tragedy, pain, suffering, crime you’ll see bombs going off, people dying, children living in constant fear. The Earth and all life seem to be suffering at the hands of societies concerned with Power, Greed and Monetary Gain.

Though I work extremely well under pressure, I choose not to surrender to the masses, follow the herd so to speak. I choose a peaceful perspective. One that allows me to do my part to cut down on the mass consumption of our earths natural resources. I choose to live life at a slower pace than those in the crowds that overwhelm me. I choose to recycle reduce and reuse in all areas when ever possible.  I can reuse it, fix it, or make it rather than buy it that is the path I choose. I get a sense of fulfillment from bringing something old back to life.

I love to create one of a kynd pieces of clothing. Each piece is unique and a work of (Heart). I make my creations by recycling and re-constructing pieces of  gently used clothing (rather than having it become landfill) I use new fabrics, Old fabrics, natural fibers, and gathered synthetic fibers. I use what is available and having the least impact on our environment!

I call it My “Peaceful Perspective” on life!
